Account & Data Deletion

Effective 25 June 2026

This page explains how to delete your LawCrust account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to LawCrust Global Consulting Ltd ("LawCrust," "we," "us," or "our") and to one LawCrust account used across all of our integrated platforms, including:

  • The websites lawcrust.com, lawcrust.in, and lawcrust.online.
  • The LawCrust mobile app (Android and iOS).
  • Our productized service lines and integrated tools (for example Legal Protect 360, FundMyCase, Vetted, and the booking / consultation system).

Because these share a single account, deleting your account removes your access and data across all of them — you do not need to submit a separate request for each platform.

1. How to Request Deletion

You can ask us to delete your account in any of the following ways. Choose whichever is easiest:

From the LawCrust mobile app

  • Open the app and sign in.
  • Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • Confirm the request. You will be asked to verify it before it is processed.

From the website

By email (no sign-in required)

If you cannot sign in, email us from the address registered on your account at inquiry@lawcrust.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Include the name and email (or phone number) on the account so we can verify your identity. We may ask for additional confirmation to protect your account from unauthorised deletion.

2. What Is Deleted

When your request is verified and completed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise:

  • Your profile and login credentials (name, email, phone, password).
  • Account preferences, settings, and saved items.
  • Marketing and communication preferences, and mobile push / device tokens.
  • Consultation requests and account activity that we are not legally required to retain.

3. What Is Retained, and Why

Some information cannot be deleted immediately because we are required to keep it, or need it for a limited and specific purpose. Where we retain data, we keep only what is necessary and protect it under our Privacy Policy:

  • Legal and matter records. Records relating to legal services already provided are retained as required by professional rules and applicable law.
  • Financial records. Invoices, payments, and tax records are retained for the period required under applicable tax and accounting law.
  • Compliance, fraud-prevention, and dispute records, where retention is required to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • Anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you and is used only for analytics.

Retained data is deleted once the applicable legal retention period ends.

4. Active Subscriptions & Ongoing Matters

  • If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before requesting deletion. Deleting your account does not by itself issue a refund; refunds, if any, follow the terms of your plan.
  • If you have an ongoing matter or engagement, related records may be retained until the matter is concluded and the applicable retention period has passed, as described in Section 3.

5. Timeline

We acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law (and never more than 90 days). Data held in routine backups is purged on our normal backup rotation cycle.

6. Effect of Deletion

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. After deletion you will lose access to your account, your history, and any benefits tied to it across all LawCrust platforms. To use LawCrust again, you would need to create a new account.
